Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am currently serving as SSNM president elect. I have previously served on the board as conference co-chair.
I have worked in the Saskatchewan Health Authority for 25 years at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon as a Food Service Supervisor and Manager – Patient Food Services. Presently, I am the Manager of Patient Food Service at Saskatoon City Hospital.
I’m looking forward to working with this dynamic group of Nutrition Managers that make up the SSNM Board of Directors.

Hello, my name is Cassandra Makulowich and I am very excited to be the president elect for the SSNM.
I have worked in the Saskatchewan Health Authority for 17 years. I have worked at all 3 acute care sites in Saskatoon as a supervisor. I have been in several different roles within that time. Currently I am a Food Production Supervisor at Saskatoon City Hospital.
In my spare time I enjoy being active with my family, cooking, and travelling.
I am looking forward serving on SSNM board for the next 3 exciting years.

I am excited to be holding the board position of president for the second time. I am also serving year two of my two year term as the Sask.Rep on the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management; I want all SSNM members to know that I am here to be a liaison between SSNM and CSNM.IF you have any questions or concerns for CSNM please feel free to contact me.
Both positions I am serving have been extremely rewarding and positive experiences and I highly encourage members to consider joining either one of these boards.
I currently am the Central Ordering Office Supervisor working out of Saskatoon City Hospital and I have been working in the Food and Nutrition field for 30 years and as a Nutrition Manager since 2010.
In my free time I love to spend time at our cabin at Struthers Lake with my husband Greg and our two furbabies Ellie and Cali.
I am looking forward to a productive year on the SSNM and CSNM boards.
Hello all! My name is Laurette and I have been on the SSNM Board in a few different roles; including Secretary/Membership Chair, Conference Co-chair and Communications/Newsletter Chair.
I have worked in food services for several years; a pastry cook at a hotel, food service worker and supervisor in the Saskatoon Health Region, food service worker in the Five Hills Health Region, and currently a food service supervisor in the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region.
I look forward to another year on the SSNM Board working with a great group of people!

Sask Polytechnic Liaison
Hello SSNM members! My name is Umair Kharral and I am currently serving as SSNM Saskatchewan Polytechnic Liaison Chair since May 2017.
I graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2015 and joined Saskatoon Health Region as a food service supervisor. Since May 2017, I have moved to Canora SK and been working as a Support Services Manager at Sunrise Health Region.
In addition to Food and Nutrition Management Diploma, I have Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing. I am also pursuing Six Sigma Certification and Project Management. I love traveling, photography and experience what this beautiful world has to offer.
I look forward to serving SSNM this year and many more to come.

Leanne Kolbe, CNM, Social Media Chairperson
Hello! My name is Leanne Kolbe, CNM. I am currently serving as SSNM and CSNM Social Media Chairperson. I have previously served as Conference Chairperson, Communications Chairperson, President and Past President for SSNM. Several years ago I obtained by Certified Nutrition Manager designation with CSNM.
I gained my experience as a Nutrition Manager working for the Saskatoon Health Region in a variety of roles including Project Assistant in the Food Production Centre to Central Ordering Office Supervisor before taking on my current role as an Account Relationship Manager with Computrition, Inc., In addition to my role with Computrition, Inc. I am also a Certified Fitness Trainer and Specialist in Fitness Nutrition with Team Iron elles Personal Training.
I am excited to be continuing with the Social Media portfolio for the 2019-2020 term.

Gwen Koob Roach
I am excited to serve in the role of Secretary/Membership for SSNM; I have previously been a member of the board as Sask Polytech Liaison.
I have worked in the Saskatchewan Health Authority (previously Saskatoon Health Region) for 25 years, in positions as a Food Service Worker, Cook, Food Service Supervisor and Manager. Presently I am the Manager of the Food Production Center based at Saskatoon City Hospital.
When I am not at work I like to read, walk, bake and travel. I look forward to working with the board and membership of SSNM for the next 2 years.

I am very excited to be serving as this year’s Conference Chairperson. This will be my 4th year on the board and 4th year as Conference Chair.
I have worked at the Saskatoon Health Region for the past 6 years. I started as a Casual Food Service Supervisor, Assistant Cook, and Diet Clerk. I have also worked as an interim Food Service Manager (for 14 months) at Bethany Manor in Saskatoon, as well as the Manager of Retail Services at City Hospital and St.Paul's Hospital.
Most recently I have taken on a new role at Sherbrooke Community Center in Saskatoon as the Team Manager of Support Services for the Village.
I look forward to working with the rest of the SSNM board members this year.

This is my third term as the Treasurer with the SSNM Board.
After completing the Food and Nutrition Management course I supervised at both Saskatoon City Hospital and Royal University Hospital in a variety of different capacities. For the past few years I have enjoyed working in a very meticulous position as the Scheduling Supervisor at Saskatoon City Hospital. I am currently enjoying my diverse role as a Business Partner in Human Resources with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Thank you to all of you who have taken interest in SSNM. I would also like to encourage all of you to continue learning and growing within yourselves and your profession while taking time to enjoy life!
