Stacey Ginter CMN
President

I am happy to once again serve as your SSNM President. After a couple of very trying and difficult years I am hopeful that we can once again come together,in person as a membership.I am extremely excited to be working as the co-chair for the  2022 CSNM conference committee. We are planning an amazing conference to be held in Saskatoon in June,2022.It will not only give us the long over due opportunity to network and reconnect but we will get to celebrate the milestone of the SSNM's 50th anniversary as an association. This is an accomplishment to be proud of as we are now one of only two provincial chapters remaining in the country.

I currently am the Central Ordering Office Supervisor working out of Saskatoon City Hospital and I have been working in the Food and Nutrition field for 31 years and as a Nutrition Manager since 2010.

In my free time I love to spend time at our cabin at Struthers Lake with my husband Greg and our two furbabies Ellie and Cali.

I am looking forward to a productive year on the SSNM and CSNM boards.

SSNM Communications Chairperson Laurette St. Jacques

Hello all! My name is Laurette and I have been on the SSNM Board in a few different roles; including Secretary/Membership Chair, Conference Co-chair and Communications/Newsletter Chair.

I have worked in food services for several years;  pastry cook at the Saskatoon Inn, food service worker and supervisor in the Saskatoon Health Region, food service worker in the Five Hills Health Region, and food service supervisor in the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. My newest role is Manager of Nutrition and Food Services for SW6.

I look forward to the upcoming 50th Anniversary celebration of the  SSNM in 2022.

I am currently in the second year of my 2-year of Secretary/Membership, and have really enjoyed the role (definitely have had to work on my tech skills a bit). Previously I have held the position of Sask Polytech Liaison for several terms.

I worked for the Saskatchewan Health Authority (previously Saskatoon Health Region) for 26 years, and retired from healthcare July 31, 2019.  It was time to move on and see what other options there were in the work world.  I am presently employed as a Nutrition Worker with the Saskatoon Public School board, working at Sutherland School.  I work 3 hours a day providing a morning snack and lunch for the students.  It is the perfect retirement job!

I am very excited to be serving as this year’s Conference Chairperson. I have been serving on the SSNM Board for the past 9 years in various roles.

I have worked at the Saskatoon Health Region for the past 10 years. I have worked at all three acute sites in Saskatoon as well as several long-term sites. Presently I am working at Both Royal University Hospital, Jim Pattisons Children Hospital and City Hospital in a variety of roles but mostly as a Food Service Supervisor.

In my spare time I like to be outdoors and being active with my family and our fur baby. We like to spend our time at the lake year-round. In the winter you will most catch us out on the snowmobile trails or in the backcountry.

I look forward to working with the rest of the SSNM board members this year.

See you all at the SSNM Conference

This is my fourth term as the Treasurer with the SSNM Board.

After completing the Food and Nutrition Management course I supervised at both Saskatoon City Hospital and Royal University Hospital in a variety of different capacities. For the past few years I have enjoyed working in a very meticulous position as the Scheduling Supervisor at Saskatoon City Hospital.  I am currently enjoying a role in Human Resources.

Thank you to all of you who have taken interest in SSNM. I would also like to encourage all of you to continue learning and growing within yourselves and your profession while taking time to enjoy life!
